Scrod,
Selling off some bike clutter that's accumulated in my garage over the last few years to fund a new wheel build. Up in the air between a chub or 105 front, or maybe if I'm feeling classy, lacing up a pro max. Hoop will be either an xr200 or 270, or an A23 (speaking of which, are these just being discontinued or are they actually going to send more of these back out on the market?)
Anyhow, Chub says not to radial lace their road hubs, have you ever built one up radial for a customer? (in before that one dude proceeds to rant about how his radially laced wheels are wobbly and unreliable, because his hands are too). I know it's not wise to go against manufacturers specs on something as vital as a wheel, but I'm just wondering if you have any firsthand experience with these hubs.
thanks in advance
