I think $20 is a reasonable charge for a professional to do any minor task. I just had an electrical part go out on my pump. $85 charge for the part (grossly inflated - I could buy it for about $35) and $100 for labor. Didn't take 20 minutes. I think we tend to use a different yardstick looking at bike shop labor costs compared to those of other professionals we deal with.
