I've done parts of it. The Victoria bit as far as where it turns off from from the Galloping Goose trail is good, after that I think it's just the shoulder of the highway to Shawnigan Lake. The Shawnigan Lake part is nice as far as Deerholme. The trail to Cowichan Lake was pretty rough the last time I was on it and some of the trail back to Duncan was unridable. From Duncan to Ladysmith it's mostly on quiet roads, I think marked as the Rotary trail or something similar. I haven't been on the trail north of Ladysmith but it looks like it's on gravel road, probably logging road. You can follow the Rotary route all the way to Nanaimo which I have done several times.
