Today I learned my friend crashed her bike (no car involved, seems to have just been a wipeout of her own doing mostly) and was not wearing a helmet. Summary of her injuries:



I won't post pics of her face but trust me it is destroyed. No solid food for three weeks b/c of the broken jaw.

I think I just got scared into wearing my helmet more consistently.
