We are definitely talking about the same Jeff. We raced Juniors together and he moved to San Fran a few years ago when I was getting back into racing after taking a break for Law school.
Yes, my wife is Carla and yes I know I am very lucky. Bike racing is as much second nature to her as it is to me. Her brother races for Discovery and as I mentioned before her dad races masters. She has actually been around bike racing longer than I have.
I do know Raul very well. I've known him since I was 17. I used to race against his brother Abel, R.I.P.. I was going to mention his name in the previous post but I didn't want to make it too long.
Don't worry about the Bud's ride. It was my first group ride ever when I was 14. I got dropped REAL early. It has been fast lately since a couple of the local guys are getting ready for the San Francisco Grand Prix. Maybe I'll see you there next week.
