Hey thanks! I've followed your 'work' and several posts while lurking as a newb so I'm honored!

I don't see why I couldn't have painted it... I guess I just didn't think about it since it was already a 'finished' piece. It would look better painted though for sure. My wife has me selling this one if I want to start a new MTB-mod though so I may not take the extra time. I just acquired another early 90s rockhopper frame, a set of '99 SRAM 9.0SL shifters and rear derailleur and a set of butterfly trekking bars so there's definitely more fun to be had. Mix the frameset with a brand new brazing torch, some raw eyelets and a bag of raw waterbottle bosses and we have a project!
