I guess I disagree on that one. The World Voyageur is a special bike, collectible, relatively rare, and well worth $300, even though it needs work. Fully rehabbed, its a $400 bike here in Hooterville, more in OC.

Go pick it up quick.

Please don't confuse ebay "asking" prices with "selling" prices. Many sellers never get their ask price. some are far from it. Value is determined once an item actually SELLS. Its easy enough to check SOLD prices.
