WRONG...carbon fiber is STRONGER than steel in terms of load capacity. If it's well made it absolutely WILL NOT BREAK unless the epoxy matrix or textile structure is damaged. The reason you don't run carbon on a BMX bike is because people crash and when you crash, things get scratched, scraped, abraded...all the sorts of stresses carbon is not designed to handle.
