I wouldn't not use campy record brakes on an all campy record build just to get a nicer arc of the cable, but that is just me. Make it work.
Good question - the frame is a 58 cm with the usual Cinelli 1A 110mm stem. I am sacrificing the original look for this bike for a specific purpose that requires the aero brakes and hidden cables. I want to use a riding position with my elbows resting on the brake hoods and bar tops like we used to do before LeMond. I prefer not to have the cable loops interfere with that riding position so I am setting it up for concealed cables. The class I am riding in does not allow aero/tri bars and I wouldn't put them on this bike in any case.

I have already ridden it with the concealed cables and the tight arc in the cable to the original Campy NR front brake but I am seeking something better without giving up too much of the C&V aura.
