FINALLY finished the cleanup/mini-resto of the Aragon bike

I picked up an Aragon brand road bike SEVERAL months ago, some of you may remember me posting and asking if anyone knew anything about it. It has been filler work for me when I have had nothing else more important to do or work on and I FINALLY got it finished. It rides smooth and strong, and is everything you would expect a C&V steel bike to be. Here are some before and after pics.

First, the before (sorry, these are crappy cellphone pictures):

And now the AFTER:

I may be biased, but I think it turned out OK.

I put new brake pads, new cables and housings, and new bar tape. Everything else cleaned up real nicely, and I used a LOT of the tips I learned on here (and I found out I LOVE Scratch-X!) to do the work. Bottom bracket and bearings were also cleaned and re-greased.

I was very pleased with my first ride around the neighborhood, very nice riding bike!
