My definition of Mountain biking is your tire size exceeds 1.75's and maybe you have a fork and wear cargo shorts. A Cannondale MTB Team was out at Bootleg recently, all kitted up and skinny as greyhounds. I think I saw Tinker J. as well at the start of the summer. Those are the two extremes of MTBing. On the downhilling I am a PW follower, I have given enough skin to the sport. But it is a real ego boost to climb some rocks and hear someone ask, how does he do that? I am still just a moron when it comes to ego.

And platforms are my friends. I am looking at a road bike. I plan on outfitting it with the gnarliest platforms I can find.
