My retro straps didn't break because of a defect, they broke because of what IMO was a bad design (or quite possibly poor installation by me, but I don't think so). The strap had some terrible pedal rub and eventually the rubbing caused the straps to break. Sure, I would contact scrod if they were defective, but I didn't think they were defective, just poorly designed. Why would I care to replace it with the same poorly designed strap that would probably break in the same manner? I decided to cut my losses and move on.

Just because everyone around here is up scrod's ass doesn't mean we can't give honest review of their performance. sry guys
Do your thing, honest reviews aren't exactly deleted or censored here. I have no issues with the RG straps, that's my honest review.
