also, you should be able to ride them. i took a few out for 20-30 minutes rides (just left the gf at the shop)
it seems that the extra 100€ gets you steel vs. aluminum frame and some extra speeds. i think the steel will ride nicer long-term. the other bike you selected (100€ less) has "better" brakes. between these two bikes, over the long-term (5-10 years) the 100€ is worth the cost.
however, steel and aluminum ride differently so try to ride them back-to-back.
i'd let them know you're serious at the shop and leave your passport and take them for a long ride (20-30mins).
they also have a belt-driven bike that i haven't seen in person, which could be quite cool as well (until it breaks on a tour).
