How about create your own Craigslist post for your new bike priced for $500? Just make up a cell phone contact, put all the specs in, maybe say it's a 2009 but "good as new!" Then excitingly show the post to her and say "Wow! What a deal! I may have to get this one! I have to at leat go take a look". Then bring home your $4000 bike for $500.
