I'd definitely recommend getting wheels/tires that are rated for 130psi... it rides firm but is far better than 90-100psi tires.

I bought a floor pump about 10 years ago that auto-adapted from Shreader to Presta, so I've only needed the adapter nipple when using compressed air.

I don't know what the upper limits of a shreader tube is for PSI... my last shreader tube bike took about 100psi and always felt like it was "flat".
