Yep, something like these two incidents can happen anywhere.
This was posted so people can be aware that whether riding a bike or driving a motor vehicle we need to be aware there are people out there who, for whatever reason, are trying to injure or kill. The only defense to them is Situational Awareness.
Being alive is the primary goal. Being uninjured is nice too.
