I don't agree. That's like the news saying there's been a mass shooting, but we won't tell you where because everyone should be more cognizant of what's going on around them when in the presence of other people.
It also doesn't give much credit to those of us who do practice situational awareness when driving, but if the OP wants to withhold that information that is his right.
