I think it's good to ride more than one kind of bike. If you have the money to pick up a geared bike, give it a shot.
Thanks. The Anti-Scrod Club tried to convince "the masses" that they were junk lately because of what seems like a couple of bad sets and I'm glad you're happy with yours.
Oh really? I haven't been on the forum pretty much at all in months(
been a busy summer and my bikes been running good, so not much to share) so I must have missed this. I have the V2 straps/odyssey kind - no complains and a lot of miles and general neglect(they're on my commuter/bar hopper).
I'm a little tight on money so I might just go with the freewheel + brakes for now and if I don't like it get a geared road bike next spring. Thanks for the insight though.
