I'm not sure what is going on lately, it seems like a lot of riders that I know are going down in crashes. I went over the handlebars Friday on my mountain bike. I came out of it with some road/forest rash and some bruising. A couple of other riders from our group have done the same. My cousins husband was hit by a car, and my sister in-laws husband went down in a crash that ended up with his face hitting a rock around his eye socket. At this point, they do not know if he will lose his eye or not. All of this in the last week. I guess my point is that this bike thing is great fun, but comes with some danger too. So, be safe out there folks.
