The crash happened once the attack was underway, so there was no obligation on Sky to wait. Whether it would have been more honourable to do so is debatable, but since the victims were Movistar, who have raced like a bunch of schmucks for the last couple of years, I wouldn't be doing too much soul-searching if I were Froome or Contador.
