If you shop the outside ring of the store (meats, fresh produce, etc), you don't really need to read labels since either there aren't any or there's one or two ingredients. On the rare occasion I do buy something from the inside of the store I either don't care what's in it, or it's a product I buy regularly and I already know what's in it.

Our "trusted government scientists" have been wrong with enough things to date, I don't trust them anymore.
