open pro's are great rims. i don't like velocities because they are made from much softer aluminum.

mavic > velocity in every way.

but, i think velocity must have paid off everyone on this message board and you will soon hear how awesome velocities are.

i would go to the LBS and have them build you a rear wheel (i also bet your front one is still fine). it will probably cost as much if not more than a set from velomine but you will be building a relationship with a local business and if you are into riding a bike having friends at the LBS is worth more than a cheap internet wheelset.

i go cheap everything else but my wheels are all handbuilt by local shops. i haven't trued a wheel in a long time.
