I think the best responses are non verbal (and no I don't mean sign language). Occassionally I get the chance to pull up right next to someone who's previously honked at me. I make sure and stop right beside them. I just glance over and give them a look which says they are a worthless piece of human crap that's not even worthy of a comment from me. It doesn't take them long to realize who the better person is. So far none of them have ever taken the opportunity to say so much as one word while we're there at the light. They just sit there looking like the assclown they've made of themselves. People tend to be really brave when they think they are anonymous, but get next to them and their true colors start to show.
