I, for one, was waiting to see his team of lawyers go after George Hincapie, Zabriskie et al, in arbitration. It would have shown what kind of guy he is. He tried to destroy so many people (Hamilton, Landis, the Andreus, LeMond.....) by claiming they were lying about his dope use. This was the way the guy has always operated, and it is a riddle why he stopped now. Except ......................

In my view, two ways to deal with this kind of issue;

Either call a news conference and issue a mea maxima culpa; Or

Go to the darn arbitration and make people shut up forever.

He did not do either.
