I'm not one to defend the police when they are trigger happy, but this wasn't the situation here. Bang-bang, they got the shooter, and nobody else was seriously injured, so all things considered, the NYPD didn't do so bad.
Not bad? I have no opinion, because I wasn't there. From afar hitting 9 bystanders seems at face value ,very bad. Then again it is NYC....Don't they have those no non sense gun laws there?
