You want to look at internet only discounters to get the "cheap" price. But understand that the "cheap" price means you get your bike in a box. There's no assembly, no fit, no customer service.

So you can't compare that to a full service LBS.

Doesn't Specialized still prohibit online sales? My LBS lists there price on the internet (not MSRP) but you still have to pick up in store.
