I really don't care why someone is selling a bike (as long as it is not stolen), and how they came up with their price. I just focus on whether it is a deal, fits within my budget, and doesn't have major defects, all in person of course.

Please don't confuse ebay "asking" prices with "selling" prices. Many sellers never get their ask price. some are far from it. Value is determined once an item actually SELLS. Its easy enough to check SOLD prices.
