the eventual plan would be to find a modern group in all polished silver (like campy chorus or older SRAM Rival) and then use the SRAM Red with a modern weight weenie carbon frame/build. But with the advent of SRAM 2012 it looks like I might just keep the current group on the RB-1 and then go with a totally new modern build (I think I missed my window in selling off the old SRAM Red group - its too low of a resale value to be worth selling off now).
