Yup but I suppose most car owners would be pissed if their transmission completely blew up at 10,000 miles due to a couple of bolts shearing and they had to buy a whole new transmission because the parts don't exist to repair the old one, and other than the bolts nothing else is wrong.
Main reason I keep rolling my old 3 speeds...

If it's just a couple of bolts how much would it cost to buy some steel rod and make replacements, or have replacements made?
