Thanks for your kind concern, we're in the clear in S. Florida now. The worst of the storm was on Sunday, but it was raining heavily for the last three days. I didn't put the shutters up due to the forecast not looking too grim, but did get the emergency supplies in order. After the first 36 hours or so of rain, we got a bit stir crazy and ventured out for a drive. Conditions weren't too bad between the squalls, and I didn't see any damage or power outages. I snapped a photo at Ft. Lauderdale beach, where the waves were pounding pretty hard and breaking way out on the outer reef.
