Thanks for being the sole helpful reply... But unfortunately I can't get a rear-mounted one because of the disk breaks. See here:

Seriously, if kickstands are a forbidden topic then you people really need to list that. Pretty annoying get this kind of treatment on a site ostensibly for helping people with bike problems...
Most roadies try to reduce all unnessary weight. Fenders, racks, kickstands, panniers are things road bikes were not intended to have. Kick stands belong on touring bikes.
