I would guess a little earlier as by '97 most flat bar bikes had gone to V-brakes. Maybe '95.

The technical term for the hairs on the tires is 'little nubbins thingys.'

It's nice to know 'tits' is not filtered out... I had that in a post the other day but left it out thinking it would turn into "****"... It was in a completely different context, though.
