I rode one a couple weeks ago at Cuyuna. It's a killer rigid mountain bike. The geometry and the tires make it just want to go over everything. Super fun. But I'd classify it as a flat out mountain bike. It would not be my choice for a winter Commuter if I were in the market. I think the Ogre is a much more versatile platform to build a commuter on.
