Thumbs on Hall effect distribution (Pertronix) of spark. Made a huge difference on spark distribution on every IC engine from a Briggs and Stratton single cylinder to a V-12. Otherwise...points adjust...file, replacement, condenser failure, burnt rotor ends, cap points..ugh.
