Would look good with Sante, but unless you have a pile of Sante parts already, by the time you are done, you will have a lot of $$ into this one.

That's the challenge of buying a frameset. Unless you have a hefty stash of parts on hand, the build will usually exceed what an equivalent complete bike could be purchased for.

As far as Shogun, just another one of those nice Japanese brands, there must have been hundreds of them, where information is hard to come by. Appears to be what I call a marketing brand: a brand of bikes that were made by others. If so, those brands tend to be harder to get any information on, and they sometimes changed manufacturers. Most of these so-called marketing brands had good partners, and sold nice bikes.

Please don't confuse ebay "asking" prices with "selling" prices. Many sellers never get their ask price. some are far from it. Value is determined once an item actually SELLS. Its easy enough to check SOLD prices.
