I had another friend who had one of those, not sure if he still has it or not, but he tried some sort of solid state injection system and it too failed, so he simply went with 6 single barrel side draft carbs. I had to teach him how to adjust them all, but that system worked great...except they went out of sync quite often, but once he figured out how to adjust them it would take about 20 minutes to get them just right. It sure looked cool though with all those carbs with chrome velocity stacks and small chrome air filters.

His engine looked like this except the all the chrome was aluminum instead except for the velocity stacks and the air filter lids, and of course the engine is different with the overhead cam setup that the Firebird had but this is as close as I could find. http://www.google.com/imgres?start=2...15,s:231,i:166
