Bikes: Cannondale Synapse '06, Mongoose titanium road bike '00--my commuter. Yes, Mongoose once made a decent ti road bike.

Everything else being equal, the more the rider weighs, the more spokes are needed. 36 spokes would support a 260# rider better than 32 spokes.
