Bikes: too many

First, anything that brings you and your daughter together, is worth the price of admission. I admire her gumption. Second, I love the ride of my Le Tour II, but maybe my feel for rides is "unsophisticated". Sure, there are lighter materials, and better shifters, but mine just "fits" me well. Not too twitchy like a racer, but more responsive than a stretched out touring frame. I think the Chicago ones do have a little more cache, so if she purchases it, make sure you let potential purchasers know that.
