Not quite. It's a "real" Singer, but not made by Singer - in the same fashion that a Masi Nuova Strada is made by Billato; yet, is still a Masi.
It just so happens that - until now - not many members here were aware of the fact that the Singer lineup was once host to a subcontracted randonneuring bike of a more pedestrian nature when compared to the hand-built frames of Ernest Csuka. This may come as a shock to those that hold such a high image of the Alex Singer brand, but it happened.
