i work at a free medical clinic and found a portable blood testing 'chine in the trash, complete with carry case (below); apparently obsolete.
i thought the case was cool and, upon inspection found it to be padded with closed cell foam. ding!
while shopping i was going to get a couple of pizzas, but they wouldn't fit, even diagonally, so
got a couple of small ones (for the same price as 2 large, grrr). maybe next time i'll fold the larges in half.
i managed to get all the cold stuff in and the bags packed, except for the doughnuts (as seen in the white bag atop the black bag). i couldn't get all four in so had to eat one

. and, since discerning minds want to know, they were (past tense, since i've eaten them

) chocolate coated cake with peanuts on top. mmmmmmmm.
i did bring along 2 freezer cold packs.
i mounted it sideways to be able to get my wonky-kneed leg over and it rides quite well using 2 X'ed bungees. i filled it while shopping and kept the cover closed. worked nicely.
the bike is on the trolley for demonstration purposes only. there are other pics in the clydesdale/athena category. title: fall ride in colorado, parts 1,2,3.
oh, an' don' be lookin' at what i bought- we fixin' on de
volume, not de eatin' habits of bachelors, ok? hmpf.
the shoe brush was there for perspective.
page 2 has a couple more pics; loaded up at the store. waaaaak!
