Since you're interested in disc brakes, you might also see if you can locate a
KHS Urban X. MSRP is $30 less than the Trek 7.2FX Disc, but also has a kickstand, rack, and fenders already- which saves you at least $50 in adding those to the Trek. Which will give you more funds for the rest of your gear. Ultimately, the decision is yours.
