This was never much of an issue when I was just riding on bike paths, but now that I'm commuting to work on somewhat busy streets I'd rather not have my vision block at all. Not sure if this is an issue with my flexibility, or if it's like this way for everyone. I've tried looking to see if Bern makes an insert that doesn't have the visor, but I can only find the winter one. The helmet is much to big when I try and wear it without any insert at all. Any suggestions? I'd like to avoid having to buy a new helmet, but if that's what I have to do I'll do it.
I've ordered the inserts without the visor for people before. I think they're around 12 bucks.

You could also just remove the one row of stitches holding the visor on, as all Bern does is attach the visor to the standard liner. A friend of mine did just that and it was really easy.
