you can still find 126mm hubs using cassettes. I have a couple of wheelsets for my 126mm rear bikes. Commonly on ebay. Just breezed past a listing that had some 20 units of Suntour cassette hubs. Generally this size hub would be a Uniglide config, which means all the hub tabs are equal size and the #1 position uses a screw-on cog.
There are plenty of 7 speed HG hubs/wheels around. Better than trying to screw(no pun) with uniglide cogs which are long out of print.
