Hey, I just ordered a new cassetee for the bike I just ordered, after figuring the gear inches and comparing to what I have now. 11/25 but with the 39 ring I wanted something that was a little easier up the bigger hills. The 36ring and 23 cassette was identical to the 39ring and 25 cassette I have now. So I decided to order the 12/27 and give that I shot. It looks like the 36ring and 27 will be about 10% easier than the 39ring and 25 that I have now.

FYI the new bike has a 36/53 front ring and a 11/23 rear. On the top end the 50 ring and 11 cassette is pretty close to the 53 ring 25 cassette I have now, but since I've only used that combo about 2 times this entire year but have run out of gears on the hills many times. I want something easier on the hills.

Hopefully this new combo will be what I was looking for.
