I notice that winter weather is a huge difference in places as close as Pittsburgh and Cleveland. Its not the cold that makes winter commuting difficult. I love a bright day well below freezing. It is all that snow. Places like Pittsburgh and Columbus just a couple hours drive from Cleveland get less than half the snow. Those people south of the Ohio River have no excuse for not riding all winter.
