I'm running Rival shifters now. Have a deal on some 2012 Sram Red shifters, not the new ergo shifters. The "deal" is still going to mean forking out some dough. Is there a distinct difference with the Red? is the zero loss something you can tell, and fell on the shifters right away?

your thoughts? My main question isn't the money, it's the "is there a discernible difference" thing.
