After a year of dealing with depression, I finally took the advice to start exercising. I haven't had such a positive outlook on life in a really really long time.
Bought my bike about 10 days ago and already been on 5 different trails. I started off going around 2 miles but have been going further each time and just did 10 today. The last time I rode a bike was when I was a little kid so I didn't even know how to shift gears.
I got a 2013 Trek FX 7.2 for my 1 mile commute to the train station + morning/evening/weekend trail riding. I'm already looking forward to when I get strong enough to get a road bike exclusively for long and fast rides. I have a lot to learn on these boards.
