Scrod - is the S2C hub as bad as all the online chatter makes it seem? I'm looking for a coaster option and a kickback seems novel. I could do single speed coaster brake, but I want to mix it up. If not the S2C I'm looking at a nexus three speed internal but then I have to deal with a shifter which is meh. I already have an 8 spd IGH which is why I don't mention it as an option. Thoughts on the S2C or other options I should look at for a backup bike or something I could let my dad ride without worrying about breaking him?
