You have a range of opinion, and now have to man up and make a decision. They're your wheels, and it's your time, money and convenience. Throw it all into a paper bag, blow it up, shake it and pull out an answer and do it, whatever you decide. I've seen less agony and analysis given to whether to get married.
These are bike wheels, what's the worst that can happen. What'll you do if you've ever faced with a significant life decision?
ha! i did end up throwing on tires quick and limping into the shop..
unfortunately my mechanic was not working and instead i had a guy that i don't have as much love/trust for. He was "totally swamped with work" and only had time to fix my chain problem which was much appreciated (threw a few ultegra links on my new 105 chain to take the place of the screwed up part)..
I went to another shop down the street and they didn't have time either

but i realized that the wheels had loosened up quite a bit after those few miles.. i think they still need a true and hub adjustment, but now that they spin better i'm feeling a lot better about this purchase.
i guess next i have to go in and try to figure out if my rear derailliur is bent (or the hanger?) or something because i'm getting some of the same problems as i had on my old chain/cassette..
the gears towards the middle of the cassette act up and ghost shift/aren't solid.. i can get the high and low gears to be fine but there's something about the middle that's still acting up even with brand new chain/cassette
