Try as you may, I've worked on SAAB 900's. Any car company that would put the engine on top of the transmission and then mount it backwards, is out of their minds. Real POS. The 9000 is a totally different beast.
I briefly had a 900 Turbo; never had to do any major work on it (thank God) but I liked the weirdness.
My favorite car ever was my 95 Aero. Very versatile car: it was great for embarrassing poseurs at trackdays & autocross, carrying tons of stuff, and could get 32-35mpg if you could exercise restraint on the boost.
Back to topic, I love the old Volvos as well.
The digital tire gauge kind of counteracts the Silca pump, though!!
